Joshua Nelken-Zitser is a correspondent at Business Insider in London, where he covers the affordability and changing economics of modern life. An award-winning British-German journalist and author, he has been at Business Insider since 2020.

During five years on Business Insider’s news desk, Nelken-Zitser reported from across the United States, Europe and the Middle East. He moved into business journalism in 2025 and was promoted to correspondent in 2026. His first book, Trauma Bonds, will be published by Mudlark, an imprint of HarperCollins, on 14 January 2027.
